The Ajazz AC067 White Moonlight keyboard may be the cleanest-looking board I’ve ever used. Not only does it master a clean and minimal aesthetic, but it also boasts modern must-haves like three-mode connectivity, hot-swappable switches, and a range of luxury features like a brass counterweight, gasket mounting, and a generous amount of poron foam.
Looking at the product photos and spec sheet, this keyboard looks fantastic for the price, but how has it held up during my testing? Here’s my Ajazz AC067 review.
Unbox to impress
High-quality mechanical keyboards are getting cheaper, and this includes the Ajazz AC067. While the unboxing experience might not be as luxurious as the highest-end keyboards out there, it’s clear that once you get the Ajazz AC067 in your hands, the focus is on the product itself.
After plugging the AC067 in with the provided USB-C cable — though you can also connect it via 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth — it’s time to get typing.
Clean as a whistle
From the top-down view, it looks as though the AC067 uses blank PBT keycaps. However, the legends are printed on the sides instead of the top, making it easy for the user to see, but keeping the aesthetic much cleaner.
Beneath those keycaps are linear Melon switches. They have a 43gf operating force, making them fairly light to actuate. This makes them ideal for gaming, as they are quick to trigger. However, they are also great for typing rapidly and without fatigue. The Melon switches, combined with the keyboard’s other materials, emit a satisfyingly smooth sound.
The best around
I can’t think of how I’d improve this keyboard in objective way, as every base appears to have been covered. With that said, should a user want to go in and swap out the key switches and/or keycaps, they can certainly do so.
It’s frankly outrageous what you can get for sub-$200 in the keyboard world now. At $199.99 on WhatGeek.com — though currently $175.99, at the time of publishing — the Ajazz AC067 White Moonlight delivers high-quality materials, a fine-tuned sound, and a super-clean look that will be a treat for any white-themed and/or minimalist setup.
