Dead Island 2 Fast Travel

Dead Island 2 Fast Travel: How To Unlock and When

Knowing how to unlock Dead Island 2 fast travel will help players move around the game world more quickly, making it easy to go back to previous areas to complete side content and explore. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to know when exactly fast travel is unlocked in DI2. Here are the must-know details.

When and how to unlock fast travel in Dead Island 2

Fast travel is unlocked in Dead Island 2 upon completion of The Red Mist mission.

Players must continue playing through the game until they have beaten The Red Mist mission. Then they will be able to travel back to previous locations, provided there is a Fast Travel Map available.

How to fast travel in Dead Island 2

To fast travel in Dead Island 2, players must:

  • First, complete The Red Mist mission.
  • Use the Fast Travel Map.
  • Select a location to travel to.
  • Confirm the location and fast travel.

While fast travel is a helpful tool, it only works at Fast Travel Maps. It’s not possible to fast travel from the player map.
