You’ll notice that in Lies of P, the description for Rare Ergo references that a treasure hunter might be interested in it. But where do you find a treasure hunter amongst this insanity? Well, there are two of them, and we’ll show you their locations below.

Lies of P treasure hunter locations

You won’t meet the “treasure hunter” in Lies of P until you reach the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library. To reach him from the Stargazer, head to the upper floors and cross through the gate. Explore through this area, and you’ll find an elevator leading up. This is where you’ll find Alidoro, who will trade you Special Weapons or amulets for Rare Ergo.

However, you won’t be able to trade with Alidoro the first time you meet him. He’ll ask you where he can find refuge, and you can either lie and send him to Venigni Works or tell the truth and send him to Hotel Krat. Regardless of your choice, you won’t see him again until after you beat the boss of the area, Fallen Archbishop Andreus.

Once Andreus is dead, you can meet up with Alidoro at the Vegnigni Works Workshop Union Entrance or Hotel Krat, depending on your earlier choice. He’ll give you another chance to lie, telling him to go to Elysian Boulevard or to tell the truth and send him to the hotel. This time, if you lie, he’ll know it and head for the hotel anyway.

Now, you can meet him at the hotel and trade your Rare Ergo to him.

There is a second “treasure hunter” in the game that you can meet near the Barren Swamp Bridge Stargazer named Rookie Explorer Hugo. He may become the replacement for Alidoro if you make a certain decision.
